Our Mission

Priston Parish Church is a caring rural Christian community reaching out to the village and beyond with God’s love, inspired by His example.

As a praying and worshiping community we endeavour to:

  • always be welcoming and inclusive
  • provide pastoral care for all members of the local community
  • work hard at outreach to all ages through social activities and having fun together
  • explore different styles of worship
  • encourage awareness of global needs
  • engage positively with charities and communities around the world.

As the body of Christ we look after a beautiful place of worship that provides for quiet prayer and contemplation and a sanctuary for reflection.

Our Community

Priston church is part of the Timsbury Benefice along with Camerton, Dunkerton and Englishcombe.

The parish is in the Diocese of Bath & Wells, the Archdeaconry of Bath, and the Deanery of Midsomer Norton.

It is also a member of the Ten Lamps Group of 10 local churches from:  Timsbury, Priston, High Littleton, Paulton, Farrington Gurney, Peasedown St. John, Wellow, Dunkerton, Foxcote & Shoscombe, and Camerton.
