About The Link

The Link has been running for 43 years. Founded in 1977, at one time it involved six local villages, but was re-launched in 2005 to cover just Priston, Nailwell and Inglesbatch. It is distributed by a team of volunteers to over 115 households at the beginning of each month, and also has a loyal electronic following as far afield as Argyll & Bute, Alberta, and Brittany!

At its heart the magazine is the village newsletter, with core information from the Parish Council, Parochial Church Council, Village Hall and any of Priston’s many groups and organisations. It is, however, also a medium for people to air their views and literary talents, provides information on local events, and even runs the occasional competition.

The Link costs just £6 per year (approximately £14p.a. for postal Links), a small price to pay for staying up-to-date with all the goings-on of the village!

The Link is always keen to get your contributions: details of events for the Social Calendar, other news items, literary gems, jokes etc.

Items will be published space permitting, providing they are not libellous or offensive! Anonymous contributions are not accepted.

To make sure that your contribution gets published in the next issue, please provide copy to the Editors by the 20th of each month.

Please use Times New Roman font with font size of 11pt for contributions wherever possible.
