Dragon 2011 A Great Day Out!

The Priston Festival is a great place for a family day out.  With a packed programme of music for parents, grandparents aunts and uncles, there will also be plenty to keep younger members of the family entertained. 

All activities listed below are free unless stated.  Parent/carers are responsible for the safety of their children.
Kings & QueensKids' Art Project

This year the Kids main art project will be to create a giant Dragonfly with spectacular tail out of recycled materials 11.30am to 3.00pm on the Green.

Previous themes have been Cockerels, Scarecrows and Green Kings and Queens.

All children (and adults) are invited to join in and all activities are free.
Palladian puppets Storyworld

We have a great FREE venue for kids on Saturday & Sunday afternoons called Storyworld, featuring:
  • singing workshops
  • story-telling
  • Burt, with his friend the Rector Martin Blewitt.

Storyworld is located on the right just down the lane which goes round the side of the Village Hall.

Storyworld is compered by Matt Stoodley.
Children's craftsCHSW Stall

The Children's Hospice - South West stall will be running activities for children including: biscuit/cake decorating, a treasure hunt and craft activities.  A nominal fee is charged - proceeds go to CHSW.
Jo Sercombe 2012 Big Sing Workshop

Children are also welcome to join in Jo Sercombe's Big Sing Workshop on Sunday afternoon in the Village Hall..
