In April 2008 a small group from
Priston joined the 10 Lamps Group on a retreat to the
Lee Abbey
Christian Community in Devon.
Rooted and Grounded was the title of the weekend with Dave Bookless (National Director of A Rocha UK) .whospoke of "Only a tree with deep roots can withstand the storm, examining the call to be deeply rooted in God, the local community and God's creation." Activities included a nature walk, followed by a bonfire on the beach, workshops and an international evening put on by the community.  |
