ABOUT PRISTON JUBILEE MORRIS
Priston Jubilee Morris was formed in 1977, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee.
The "side" performs regularly in Priston and the surrounding villages, especially on New Year's Day and May Day celebrations.  Its repertoire includes Cotswold dances, together with some developed by the side in the "Priston" tradition.
The side's philosophy is to adhere to the social tradition of morris dancing, where the dances should be enjoyable for the dancers and audience alike, informal but a celebration of life!

COME AND JOIN US
We are a friendly bunch and welcome the chance of a chat. You could ask us about the origins of Morris or even chance your arm and join us for a practice or two- you never know, you might enjoy it.  We practise at Priston Village Hall on Monday nights.  By strict tradition, practices start and end in the Ring O'Bells.  Sometimes we don't even get to the hall!
