Priston Festival was formed as a charitable society by a group of local people in 2008 in order to create a regular annual festival which would allow us to celebrate local music and artistic talent - hence our slogan "Live 'N' Local"!

We aim to stage an event which has a broad range of music and previous Festivals have included folk, jazz, blues, rock, choral and classical music.  We also provide singing and dancing workshops, film, and literary events as well as children's art projects.

We use the beautiful parish church, the village pub, the old village hall and small village green to stage a range of intimate events.  Note there is no camping permitted at the festival.

Most events at the Festival are free, but we raise the money we need to mount the Festival from selling tickets for selected events and through sponsors.  We welcome visitors as well as residents to the Festival and provide events which cater for all ages.

Sponsorship is critical to our ability to present the Festival and you can find out how to become a Sponsor here. We are also very grateful to our individual donors and for the support we receive from other village organisations.

The Priston Festival is a Full Member of Making Music, a federation of UK musical societies and promoters.
