WELCOME to the Priston Parish Church web-pages.   We hope you will join us in worship at our church, which has been an intrinsic part of village life for more than a millennium.  You can find us here.

Our Mission
Priston Parish Church is a caring rural Christian community reaching out to the village and beyond with God’s love, inspired by His example.

As a praying and worshiping community we endeavour to:
  •     always be welcoming and inclusive
  •     provide pastoral care for all members of the local community
  •     work hard at outreach to all ages through social activities and having fun together
  •     explore different styles of worship
  •     encourage awareness of global needs
  •     engage positively with charities and communities around the world.
As the body of Christ we look after a beautiful place of worship that provides for quiet prayer and contemplation and a sanctuary for reflection.

Our Community
Priston church forms a united benefice with St. Mary's Church, Timsbury, Camerton and Dunkerton.
The parish is in the Diocese of Bath & Wells.  It is also a member of the Ten Lamps Group of 10 local churches from:  Timsbury, Priston, High Littleton,  Paulton, Farrington Gurney, Peasedown St. John, Wellow, Dunkerton, Foxcote & Shoscombe, and Camerton.  The Diocese of Bath and Wells is linked with the Anglican Dioceses of Zambia through which the Benefice has a link with St Agnes Church, Kaunda Square, Lusaka.
