| The
view is from the top of Priston Hill, from the field gate just after
the turning to the right which goes towards Tunley (Grid reference ST701604).
The view is the one which greets people returning home after a hard
day’s work from the direction of Bath! The photo was taken about 11am on 9 February 2008. It is actually a composite photo made up of 4 separate photos taken with a Canon digital SLR plus zoom telephoto lens, stitched together on computer using Adobe Photoshop Elements. ![]() The photo extends from Rockhill House, Priston
Valley, through the
village to Village Farm. Most houses in the village are visible,
although a few are obscured by trees. The detail is sufficient for the
time to be visible on the church clock and for the true nature of One
Tree Hill to be visible.
You can now buy this view of Priston. The photo is available in 3 sizes, as a plain photo only on high quality glossy 260g/m2 photo paper.. If you wish to mount or frame the photo please make your own arrangements. Prices are as follows .
